Analytics turns the freight you already booked, billed, paid for and fuelled into seven boards of business numbers — what you earned, what you kept, whether you delivered on time, who owes you money, and where your fuel tax is heading — and every number on those boards states out loud how much of your business it was actually able to measure.

What happens on its own.
The work nobody does. These run in the database rather than the browser, which is why they still happen when someone forgets, closes the tab, or was never told they were supposed to.
Every CSV export writes an audit line
The user sees a file appear in their downloads folder. What also happens, after the download has already started, is a lookup of the signed-in user's identity and an insert into reading, for example, "Alex Laxman exported CSV: Revenue data
Five of the seven browser-side data feeds are live
Loads, invoices, drivers, vehicles and customers each subscribe to database change notifications, so a load booked, an invoice paid or a truck put into maintenance while the page is open causes that feed to refetch and every dependent chart
The address bar is rewritten on every tab and window change
Selecting a tab or a date range silently replaces the browser address with — replaced, not pushed, so toggling tabs does not fill the Back button with history. Defaults are omitted from the address.
Date filters are quantised to the minute before they reach the server
Each of the four server-call services floors the cut-off timestamp to the nearest minute before using it. This is invisible to the reader and changes no answer a human could perceive, but it is what stops a runaway loop of requests when a c
