Compare
Compared to how you work today.
We do not publish comparisons against named products. Partly because they go stale the week the other vendor ships something, and partly because the honest competitor for most carriers is not a vendor at all — it is the arrangement they already have.
01
Spreadsheets, email and a whiteboard
Free, flexible, familiar, and completely dependent on the person holding it together. Plenty of real carriers run real businesses this way, and it works right up until it doesn't.
02
A dispatch system plus an accounting package
Two good products, each strong at its own job, with a person in between reconciling them. The gap between the two is where the money leaks.
03
A general TMS plus a customs specialist
Deep at the border, disconnected from the shipment. The specialist knows customs better than any TMS vendor does — and knows nothing about the load until someone tells it.
Questions worth asking any vendor.
Including us. Every one of these has a specific answer, and a vendor who cannot give you one is telling you something.
Does it post to a general ledger, or export to one?
The difference decides whether your books are current or reconstructed monthly.
What happens when I void an invoice?
If the accounting entry does not unpost with it, someone is fixing that by hand later.
Can you show me which capabilities are not built?
Every product has gaps. The question is whether you find out now or in week three.
Who can see rate and margin fields?
If the answer is "everyone with a login", that is a decision someone made for you.
Where does my data physically live?
And under whose privacy law, which is a different question from where the company is.
What does the border filing actually do?
Prepared, or transmitted? Both are useful. They are not the same claim.
