Multi-Company

When one owner runs several trucking companies side by side, this single screen adds them up — loads, revenue, trucks, trailers and drivers, each company in its own colour — so the owner can see the whole family of businesses at a glance without ever mixing their separate sets of books.

The menu decides for itself whether this module exists

Every time the sidebar renders, for every user, on every page, it silently asks the database which groups are readable. For the overwhelming majority of customers the answer is none and the menu item is never drawn — but the question is sti

AUTO

Universal search asks the same question independently

The keyboard-shortcut palette and the full search page each run their own copy of the group reader and each rebuild their index with the Group entry included or excluded. That is up to three separate group lookups per session from three sep

Every load's revenue is converted before it is summed

The conversion happens inside the database using the exchange rate stamped on each individual load at the moment it was created, never a rate looked up today.

AUTO

Foreign-currency documents get their rate stamped automatically

When a load, invoice or carrier bill is saved in a currency other than the company's home currency without an exchange rate, a database trigger looks the rate up from the Bank of Canada registry, dated to the document, and stamps it. Home-c

01
Reach the screen from universal search
Presses Ctrl+K or Cmd+K (or opens the Search page), types "group", and jumps here. The entry is filtered out of the search index entirely when the user has no group.,

Be told plainly when you have no group
Someone with no readable group — or whose data request is refused — sees a centred message: "You're not part of a company group. Group admins see a consolidated view of all their companies here."

05
See the group's name as the page title
Opens the screen. The heading is replaced by the group's own name (for example "Gill Group Logistics"), with a sub-line reading "Consolidated operational view · N companies · books kept separate".
06
Read the group's company count
Reads the "Companies" tile — how many companies are currently assigned to this group.
07
Read total group revenue
Reads the "Total revenue" tile — every company's booked freight rate added together and shown in the group's declared currency.
08
Read active loads across the group
Reads the "Active loads" tile — every load currently sitting in Dispatched, In Transit, At Pickup or At Delivery, across all companies. A Load is one customer shipment: a pickup, a delivery, a commodity and a rate.; the four counted states are fixed in the dat
